Why therapy? Why counseling?
The terms therapy and counseling are the same thing. Therapy explores a more in-depth look over an extended period of time (think psychotherapy), but counseling is a more structured, short-term service, often overlapping. At Multicultural Counseling, the terms therapy, counseling, therapist, and counselor interchangeably to refer to treating mental, emotional, and behavioral health issues.
What is a Good Faith Estimate and how can it benefit me?
Under the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133 - effective January 1, 2022), health care providers need to give clients who do not have or are not using insurance an estimate of their bill for services. This is called a Good Faith Estimate.
What I need to reschedule my session?
To reschedule you must contact me within 24 hours of scheduled meeting. If rescheduled within 24 hours of your meeting there will not be any charge. On the day of scheduling you will be charged the full amount.
